What to Expect

Middlesex Hospital’s orthopedics department comprises highly–skilled, experienced orthopedic surgeons and advanced technology. Our surgeons are all certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and constantly study and learn the newest innovations and progressive treatments in the field.

Treatments include the newest arthroscopic techniques for rotator cuff repairs, joint reconstruction, and hand and wrist surgery. Most of these procedures are performed on an inpatient basis, utilizing the latest minimal–pain techniques.

Our outcome results for our hip, knee, unicondylor (half knee), shoulder and ankle joint replacements compare favorably with the national average, with fewer complications and very high levels of patient satisfaction.
