Look Good..............Feel Better
March 13, 2008
The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center is offering a program, sponsored by the American Cancer Society, that is specially designed for women who are experiencing the side effects from cancer treatment. This program, entitled Look Good . . . Feel Better, offers advice and tips from cosmetology professionals to help women with cosmetic issues such as applying makeup, dealing with dry skin and discolored nails, choosing and caring for wigs, and learning how to tie scarves and turbans for an alternative to wigs.
The next Look Good...Feel Better program will be held on Monday, March 31, 2008, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., at the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center, 536 Saybrook Road, in Conference Room A/B on the second floor. A light snack will be provided. It is free of charge but registration is required by Wednesday, March 26, 2008. For more information or to register, call (860) 358-2061.
