Reiki Class to Offered at Cancer Center

The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center is offering a Reiki class on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. The Center is located at 536 Saybrook Road in Middletown.

 

Attendees will learn about Reiki, a complementary holistic therapy that promotes relaxation and establishes normal energy flow throughout the body. A short presentation about Reiki will be followed by ten-minute Reiki sessions for all in attendance. Anyone unable to lie on a massage table can receive the session in a seated position.

 

The program is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the new Center for Integrative Medicine at the Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center.
